Interactive Dining

Pretty cool article by ArchDaily about MOJO Icusine, the first totally interactive restaurant in Taiwan. I’m all for users interacting with their space. Ordering food to a real person would eventually be missed, though, right?

I can see the interactive tabletops becoming a standard in restaurants of the future. I hope there would still be room for human waitstaff to come over and say “Is everything alright?” or “Can I refill your water glass?”, otherwise this is a like a computerized automat (for those who remember the 1950s).
